Pizzanelli, Jorge
Painter born in Montevideo (Uruguay) in 1945.
In 1986 start his drawing and painting studies with the master Hugo Longa.
In 1989 visit several Museums and Galleries of Germany, Spain, Austria, Spain, France, Holland and Italy, hold on his technique, using oil on canvas apply with palette knife, obtaining an important texture to represent the best natural light, painting urban, country and marine landscapes.
Since 1990 realized several individual exhibitions in Colonia (Uruguay), Canelones (Uruguay), Maldonado (Uruguay), beeing his works select to Asociación de Aldeas Infantiles S.O.S. to illustrate Christmas Cards.
In 1994 exhibe at Gramado City (Brazil) at the II Cultural Integration Week Brazil-Uruguay.
Same year take part in Montevideo (Uruguay) of the X Visual Arts Exhibition of Diplomatic Members, Consular and of International Organisms, fulfilled at Sala Pedro Figari of the Foreign Ministery (Uruguay).
In 1999 realized an individual exhibition in New York (USA), sponsored by the Foreign Ministery and the General Consulate of Uruguay.
In 2000, represents Uruguay at the VIII Latin American Art Contest, realized at the Meridian International Center of Washington D.C. (USA).
In 2001, integrate "Uruguay Cultural Foundation for the Arts" of Washington D.C. (USA).
During 2002, exhibe at the Cultural Centers of Susonoshi Bunka Senta of Susono City (Japan) and Gotenba Shimin Kaikan of Gotenba City (Japan).
In 2005, exhibe at the Uruguayan Embassy in Paris (France) at the 8th Paris-Banlieues Tango Festival, organized by the Municipal Council of Montevideo. In 2006, Exhibe at Norfolk (USA), Shangai (China) and Marsella (France).
His works ar in private collections of Uruguay and other foreign countries.
